  • By Road: Drive from the Kasol pickup location to Malana Dam II Reservoir. There are 2 dams on Malana river, make sure to cross the first one ane drive to the Malana Dam II Reservoir.
  • By Foot: Trek to Magic Valley, which is about 500 meters from the Malana Dam. 
  • Road Conditions: Drive through winding mountain roads along the Parvati and Malana Rivers. If you are coming by your vehicle, then drive cautiously, as some sections may include sharp and steep turns. 

Pro Tip: Inform your trek organizer of your arrival so they can coordinate pickups or porters if needed.

3. How to Reach Kasol Bus Stand from Delhi

You have three main travel options to reach Kasol from Delhi:

By Air

  • Nearest Airport: Bhuntar Airport (KUU) near Kullu, which is 30 km from Kasol.
  • Flights: Direct flights from Delhi are limited and often expensive.
  • From Bhuntar to Kasol: Take a local taxi or bus (1 to 1.5 hrs).

Pro Tip: Flights to Bhuntar are weather-dependent and may get delayed or canceled.

By Train

  • Dev Roopa Trek Route By Bus: Take a Volvo bus to Bhuntar or Manali, then local transport to Kasol to Malana Dam then Magic Valley.
  • By Taxi: You can get a taxi from Bhuntar to Malana Dam and then trek to Magic Valley base camp.

Upon reaching the grassland, you’ll be awestruck by its vastness. The landscape is a pristine, level meadow, with crystal-clear streams weaving gracefully in loops and curves through the plain. After soaking in the serene beauty of Dev Roopa, we will descend back to the Bogdi campsite for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Bogdi to Behali, Drive back to Kasol, Dev Roopa Trek Drop-off Point.

After that, we will trek down to the road where our vehicles will pick you up and drive to Kasol. We bid you goodbye at Kasol Bus Stand.
