June 20, 2025: Official Opening | First Day Report
Under strict supervision by the Uttarakhand Forest Department, the trek officially began at 7 AM from Ghangaria Base Camp. 83 trekkers became part of this historic first day of the 2025 season.
- Local bridges and trail segments have been restored
- 4–5 km of trekking trail has been reopened safely
- Online permits are now mandatory for all visitors
