Auli is an amazing hill station located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Chamoli district in Uttarakhand at an altitude of 2,500 m to 3050 m. It is also a famous Skiing destination in India because of its sparkling slopes and meadows with diverse vegetation and tranquil environment, due to which it has gained popularity across the globe. Every winter season Department of Uttarakhand Tourism organizes a sports competition in Auli to encourage “Skiing”.

Jolly Grant Domestic Airport in Dehradun is the nearest airport and the distance is around 280 km. Flights are available daily from Delhi International Airport to Jolly Grant airport in Dehradun. Cabs and taxis are always available from Jolly Grant airport.

BY RAIL

The nearest railway station from Auli is Haridwar which is connected with many major cities and lies is at a distance of 280 km. The other nearest rail head is in Dehradun which is also connected to major cities of India.

BY ROAD

It is easily accessible through road from Joshimath. It is the nearest city at a small distance of 15 km. Taxi, bus and cab service are easily available from Joshimath.
