Air travel details

The nearest airport to Kasol Village is Kullu Manali Airport which is also known as Bhuntar Airport in Kullu District. Daily flights connect the airport with the capital of the country, Delhi. Delhi is the only airport for you here, from where there is a direct flight, Kasol is just 31 km from Bhuntar airport, from where you can come comfortably by taxi and it will take you about 1 hour to reach Kasol. . Looking for Delhi to Kasol flight? For tourists coming from other countries, you can take a flight to Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. How to reach by road?

Kasol village can be reached through excellent road facility. Yes it does take time but it is also very good NH-3 is the main road leading to Manali city and this village. A road trip should be as pleasant and enjoyable as that of Kasol. You can opt for self-drive to reach Kasol Village, or hire a taxi. Provides Aadhaar for people coming from Delhi and Chandigarh from long distances. There are many agencies that give you vehicles on rent for Kasol Village and which you can find in Delhi and Chandigarh. In addition, there are daily buses from Kashmere Gate ISBT in Delhi to Kasol. You can also come here and book Volvo special buses, most of which are semi-sleeper, which cost around Rs.900 to Rs.1500 per seat. There are. Day 1: Kasol to Barshaini – Rudra Nag and Kheerganga

The magical Kheerganga trek starts from famous trekking destination “Kasol” which is a small village located on the bank of Parvati River. The vehicle will be arranged from here and then it move towards Barshaini which is the confluence of Tosh and Parvati Rivers.

Today witness the nature at its best in Himachal Pradesh. Go through the picturesque landscape offering scenic vistas, cross some wooden bridges on the trail. Now, one after another the cascading waterfalls welcome you.

Reach Rudra Nag, a serpent shaped waterfall in Parvati valley which attracts many tourist because of its unique shape. Stop here for sometime admiring its formation then move ahead.

After a long 12 km hike along Parvati River explore the Kalga and Pulga villages and know about their lifestyle.

Ahead lies a lush green meadow “Kheerganga”. Do not miss to take a dip in the hot spring, this water is believed to be therapeutic. The mighty Himalayan peaks contributes in the serene charm of this trek. Setup your camps wait for the delicious food to be served and comfortably retire for the night.

Day 2 : Return from Kheerganga – Rudra Nag – Barshaini to Kasol

Start the day early by watching the sunrise view and changing colors of lofty Himalayan peaks. Have sumptuous breakfast at Kheerganga and by retracing your steps once again relish the verdant beauty and reach Barshaini.

Get back to Kasol in the arranged vehicle and spend leisure time exploring this beautiful hill station “Kasol”.

It differs from season to season if you are trekking in summers then carry less layers of warm clothing and if you are trekking in winters carry enough layers to protect yourself against chilly cold.
